For millions of people, Friday’s debate was the first time they heard Barack’s plans to cut taxes for 95% of middle class families, bring a responsible end to the war in Iraq, make health care affordable, and rebuild our economy from the bottom up.
They also saw that John McCain — after his erratic and reckless response to the nation’s financial crisis — never once mentioned how he planned to help struggling American families. Throughout the entire debate, he didn’t say the words “middle class.” Not once.
